Enter the reference from the government SMS. You see the status page straight away; a one-time code is asked only when you act on it.

What you can track, and which government system holds it
| Reference | Looks like | Shows | Real system |
|---|---|---|---|
| Challan | KA/BTP/2026/19846 | Open, paid, disputed or in the Virtual Court | eChallan · Virtual Court |
| Dispute e-ticket | GR-260905-XXXX | Where your grievance stands | eChallan Grievance System |
| Sale application | TR-260905-XXXX | Who acts next: buyer, RTO, RC reissued | Vahan · Know Your Application Status |
| Payment receipt | NV-260811-XXXX | Paid, and whether the court record has caught up | eChallan · Transaction Status |

The real status pages ask for a captcha, and the grievance page then a mobile or Aadhaar OTP; here the one-time code comes at the first action instead. Sarathi (licence) status needs the application number and date of birth; not built this round.
